Dr. Clara Bergeron
Prosthodontist, DDS, MS
Dr. Bergeron joined Advanced Dentistry of Richmond in 2023. Dr. Bergeron is originally from Manassas, VA and completed her undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary. She earned her degree in dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, and continued on to complete an additional 3-year residency program to specialize in prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. While there, she earned a Masters for her research in the development of a new dental composite (filling material) with improved mechanical and biological properties.
Her interest in prosthodontics began at an early age, and stemmed from observing her father work as a lab technician alongside a prosthodontist, creating beautiful, functional smiles for patients who were often coming to them with complex situations.
Dr. Bergeron is recognized for her contributions to the American Equilibration Society and the San Antonio Chapter of the American College of Prosthodontists. She is published in the Journal of Applied Biomaterials and Functional Materials. Dr. Bergeron holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Outside of caring for her patients, Dr Bergeron enjoys sharing a slow cup of coffee in the backyard with her husband, Vickas Agarwal, a local oral surgeon, and their new baby girl. Dr Bergeron is also an avid volleyball player, and is a regular at the dog park with their brussels griffon pup, Marcel.
