Dr. Clara  Bergeron prosthodontist and dentist in Richmond VA

Dr Bergeron grew up in Manassas, Virginia, with both of her parents working in the dental field. Her interest in prosthodontics stemmed from observing her father work as a lab technician alongside a prosthodontist, creating beautiful, functional smiles for patients who were often coming to them with complex situations.

Dr. Bergeron completed her undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary and earned her degree in dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. She met her husband, Vickas, during her time at VCU, and fell in love with the city of Richmond. Following graduation, Dr. Bergeron completed a three-year certificate program in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. While there, she also earned a Master’s degree in research to develop a new composite material to be used for dental fillings.

Following her training, Dr. Bergeron treated patients in a private prosthodontics practice in Dallas, Texas, while her husband completed his oral surgery residency. She worked closely with the oral surgery department at UT Southwestern Medical Center to treat patients who had lost teeth related to cancer, trauma, and osteonecrosis.

Dr. Bergeron is thrilled to be back in Richmond. In her free time, she enjoys playing indoor volleyball, sewing, and exploring the local trails with her husband and their Brussels Griffon pup, Marcel.

Dr. Bergeron holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontics and The American Dental Association.
